Hallam Girardet - Counsellor and Psychotherapist
My name is Hallam Girardet, I’m a BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist based in the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. I support clients facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.
My integrative training allows me to tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, drawing from existential, psychodynamic, and person-centred perspectives.
I offer both in-person ‘walk and talk’ therapy sessions in the national park and online therapy.
Walk and Talk Therapy
I'm lucky enough to live on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog national park and everyday I'm reminded of the landscape's unique ability to place our problems into perspective. The calming environment of the mountains can make them a very effective place to discuss our problems. Walking alongside someone can often foster difficult conversations in a way that is easier than when sat face to face.
Getting in touch
If you're thinking about working with me, the first step is to make an initial enquiry. From there, we can schedule a free introductory call to see if I'm the right therapist for you. I'm always happy to answer any questions you might have about the process or myself as a therapist.
Should you feel comfortable after our phone call, we can book a first session and take it from there.
I look forward to hearing from you.
